Salvo & Sons Roofing began its journey in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, during the summer of 1983. Fast forward 40 years, and Salvo Roofing continues to thrive, proudly serving Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. The story traces back to Michael Salvo, who embarked on this venture after spending four years working for a roofing company. With the impending arrival of his fourth child, David, and the prospect of more children on the horizon, Michael realized the importance of steering his own destiny.
Thus, Salvo & Sons was born, not only to shape Michael's future but also to secure a legacy for his eight children and, now, a growing count of 21 grandchildren. The roots of Salvo & Sons took hold in Southwest Florida, where David, Michael's son, assumed the helm as the proprietor of the Florida division. David's journey in roofing commenced at a young age, beginning with cleaning up job sites and evolving into a skilled installer. Over time, he ventured into the realm of custom metal fabrication, progressing further to contribute from within the office.
Two years ago, a pivotal transition occurred as David, accompanied by his wife and three children, relocated to the captivating Fort Myers / Cape Coral area. Today, Salvo & Sons Roofing stands as a testament to dedication, familial values, and the unwavering pursuit of excellence, all rooted in a legacy that began in the heart of Chicago and now flourishes under the Floridian sun.
